Multi-sectoral groups in Iloilo are set to stage a rally on Wednesday, marking 40 years since the EDSA People Power Uprising that ousted dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr.
Protesters are expected to press calls to hold the Marcos Jr. administration accountable, call ICC to convict former president Rodrigo Duterte, and echo the impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte.

Students from the University of the Philippines Visayas are now here in front of the Iloilo Provincial Capitol, Wednesday.
Progressive groups are set to join them for the Iloilo-wide protest for accountability against corruption perpetuated by Marcos Jr and Sara Duterte.

Protesters in Iloilo City take to the streets on Wednesday, February 25, to demand accountability from the Marcos administration and press for the impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte. The march, marking the 40th anniversary of the EDSA Revolution, culminated at St. Clement’s Church, where a Mass was officiated as part of the commemoration activities.
Protesters are now settled within the vicinity of Jaro Cathedral where a mass service will be offered afterwards as part of the commemoration.
